Ofsted Outstanding
The outstanding judgements in all categories reflect the strong partnership that exists between our children and our school. We are honoured to know that working with our parents and our children in the way we do means we join that small group of schools who are judged to be Outstanding. Our school team has been recognised as providing high quality education and provision in all aspects of our school. We are particularly proud because it was clear to the inspectors that they were observing our school’s normal practice. Staff delivered their normal planning in the St Mary’s way – and this was judged to be outstanding! This wonderful piece of news is not an excuse for complacency; staff and governors remain focused on ensuring that current and future generations of pupils are served with distinction and we do not underestimate the importance of this responsibility. St Mary’s has come a long way and we are determined to go even further! We are an excellent school with a forward thinking community and will strive to succeed at every level. The inspection team has confirmed that our children receive a first class education.
